So far since he arrived in Europe Geoff has swum in 8 high profile and world best swimming events for a total of 5 medals…3 gold, silver and bronze!!!!
And, actually, whilst the other swimmers are racing for medals…he is now competing for swimming history!
Geoff’s story is truly inspirational and takes him out of simply being a sporting comeback hero and up to the more rarefied air of the “battler who overcame the odds, played to his strengths and proved that a big heart can define a person’s true character”!
PESCARA, Italy, June 19.
