I visited the sick and injured children at Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick, to spread some inspiration, encouraging words, good cheer and to promote Go Pete Go – a new fundraising campaign for the Hospital.
Go Pete Go is a new campaign by ultra marathon runner and fundraiser Peter Wilson, who has chosen four gruelling international footraces to compete in this year. Go Pete Go invites everyone to vote via SMS or online at www.gopetego.com.au during February and the race with the most votes, will be the one Pete will ultimately compete in. The public are also encouraged to make a donation to improve the lives of sick and injured kids at the Hospital.
Pete Wilson is a hero to the staff and patients at Sydney Children’s Hospital, having raised over $300,000 over the past two years by competing in some of the World’s most punishing and challenging footraces. Hearing Pete’s new challenge, I was inspired to get involved and lend my support to the campaign.
Thanks to the inspiring support of people like Pete Wilson, Sydney Children’s Hospital is able to do some remarkable work to help sick kids.

I’m honoured to support the campaign and encourage everyone to vote and donate today.
